The story
How Lyraa started.
Hyperion Tech is a Melbourne agency. We build websites, apps, and software for Australian businesses. Most of our clients are small — a plumber, a dental clinic, a disability care provider, a few trades.
And almost every one of them had the same quiet problem.
They'd invest in a new website. Run ads. Optimise their SEO. Then lose the leads that actually came in, because nobody was there to pick up the phone. The call would hit voicemail. The caller would hang up and dial the next business. A $2,000 ad spend turned into a $0 week.
We tried every solution on the market. Human answering services cost more than our clients could justify. Chatbots felt robotic and turned customers off. The international AI tools sounded American, couldn't handle Australian accents, and charged enterprise prices for small-business problems.
